The next auction will be held August 20 and 21 at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds in Pomona. But don’t wait til the last minute to decide whether you’re going or not – you need to register by August 10 in order to participate. Full auction rules and cautions are outlined here.

Until now, the only way to wade through the property list was to buy the auction book and scan through it manually. Fortunately, technology has made things easier for us this year!

Not only have they provided us with a list that can be sorted by City, they’ve provided handy links to the County Assessor’s maps and a nifty mouse-over viewing of graphic reproductions of the Assessor maps.

There’s not a lot available for auction in the Santa Clarita area, but there are properties in Saugus, Newhall, Acton, Agua Dulce, Green Valley and Elizabeth Lake. Sorry, nothing in Valencia or Stevenson Ranch!

Not all of these properties will be available for sale at the auction, since the owners still have time to step forward and pay their delinquent taxes. Be sure to check for updates as the auction date nears!
