Santa Clarita's May Real Estate Sales Statistics

Once again it's time to review the monthly real estate sales statistics for the Santa Clarita area.

In this update for May 2007, we'll review the number of listings active, pending and sold in the Santa Clarita areas of Castaic, Canyon Country, Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch, Tesoro del Valle and Valencia. These numbers are for single family (detached) homes only.

Note that the Canyon Country area seems to be lagging behind the other areas in terms of the number of homes available (432) compared to the number of homes either pending (64) or sold (25). It's possible that this area's resale activity is being impacted by the new home developments available in the Plum Canyon area, Fair Oaks Ranch and the Golden Valley area.
