Stonecrest Residents to Hear From Los Angeles County Representatives

Tuesday meeting to be held at 7pm at Sulphur Springs School.

Los Angeles County representatives are scheduled to meet with Stonecrest residents on Tuesday to talk about what the County has to offer.

Bear in mind that the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors have already approved of the controversial Cemex mining project that is slated for the area just outside of the Stonecrest development.

The City of Santa Clarita is attempting to annex the Stonecrest development as a sort of a land bridge so City will own the land closest to the Cemex project. They believe that this will strengthen their attempts to stop the Cemex mine.

County officials claim that the Tuesday meeting will be "neutral".
