Your feelings about Newhall Hardware are shared by thousands of us. I don’t blame the city entirely on the tentative closure of the store but they sure didn’t help matters.
We are now asking the city to come through with a plan to save Newhall Hardware, sighting the historic and convenience values it brings to the community.
Please have your readers call and e-mail city hall at (661) 255-4395 bkellar@santa-clarita.com.
They may also attend the CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING, Tuesday, February 12, 2008, 6:00 PM, at City Hall, 23920 Valencia Blvd., 1st Floor, and Santa Clarita. We are promising to fill the council chambers with hundreds of Newhall Hardware Supporters.
