West Ranch Town Council Issues Apology for “Insensitive” Remarks
West Ranch's Bossert Apologizes for Canyon Country Bashing
After much furor over a blog post stating that Canyon Country is a "cesspool of crime" among other accusations, Dave Bossert has finally issued a public apology for his "insensitive" remarks.
This apology came after other members of the West Ranch Town Council expressed their concern about Bossert’s commentary, especially considering that Bossert holds the position of President of the controversial West Ranch Town Council. Seems it took some major arm-twisting to get this apology, but at least it’s done.
In their concern over Bossert’s ongoing commentary, members of the West Ranch Town Council will apparently be monitoring and approving all future posts to Bossert’s blog, the West Ranch Beacon. While Bossert could certainly use some coaching as to what is appropriate for the President of a Town Council to be posting online, outright censorship of his blog is likely taking things a bit too far. Hey, I’m definitely not a member of Bossert’s Fan Club, but I do cringe at the thought of censoring a blog.
Meanwhile, Bossert’s blog posts have reverted to more mundane topics such as Easter Egg Hunts and World News.
