Hearing Set for Increase in Planned Tesoro del Valle Development

Public hearing is set for February 21 to add additional units to the original plan.

The developers Tesoro del Valle, a master planned development in Santa Clarita adjacent to the Valencia area, are requesting that 477 units be added to their original requests for Phases B and C of this development.

This request does not increase the total of 1791 units originally planned for the development, but it does reallocate the 475 units that were not built in Phase A (the homes already built) and the 2 estate homes that will no longer be built in Phase D.

Currently, Phase B is planned for 122 single family homes on larger lots and Phase C is planned for 115 homes. The current request for reallocation of the "unused" units from Phases A and D would increase Phase B to 182 units and Phase C to 532 units. If you do not agree with this increase, or if you’d like to attend the hearing for informational purposes, it will be held on February 21 at 6:30pm in the Tesoro Historical District.
